AboutJoyce

Joyce is an accomplished fine art artist born in Rio de Janeiro. She has been painting all her life.  She often uses a combination of mixed medias for her paintings and illustrations in order to produce her wonderful imagery.  As you can tell by the plethora of images and designs in her gallery, Joyce is constantly coming up with new ways to express her artistic genius and share her concepts and heartfelt love of people and art to the world.

Since Joyce has been in the US, she has worked as an art consultant for a major art store chain and has been a creative artist for both public and private schools. Many of her paintings adorn the walls of popular restaurants like Pampas Brazilian Grille, located inside Planet Hollywood in world-renowned Las Vegas.

Joyce has worked on projects for the military and special needs, including professional sports causes. In honor of the late and great Walter Payton of the Chicago Bears, Number 34, Walter’s brother Eddie Payton has showcased her artwork in front of fans and supporters to honor the Payton Family Foundation.  Celebrities and all who love art are paying close attention to the skills and abilities of Joyce as she brings J’Art Galleries to the world.

Joyce currently creates art for commercial and private collectors. She gives her free time to the local community, developing artwork to help nonprofit organizations raise money for their charities.  Her illustrations have the charm and sweetness of child-like characters that are always surprising to the audience as she creates new work and new productions.

As a story teller, character developer and illustrator, Joyce states, “I give my characters a soul and they come alive going from adventure to adventure. They interact with each other, telling a story.  For me creativity does not have an ending story, but a continuation of one’s soul search. I live to create, I create to live.”

Joyce created and successfully engineered and executed many projects and productions with Life Long Dreams a non-profit organization for special needs children and adults. “A Chest of Dreams”, (Documented By PBS),”The Smiley Chefs”, “Dream Puppy”,  “Fashion Is Fun”, “Paper and Crayons”.

“Paper and Crayons” (an art activity to work  with  “RAM” REMOTE AREA MEDICAL) received commendations and awards from NV Governor Brian Sandoval and various Senators of the State of Nevada, in addition to recognition by the City of Las Vegas and CARE Coalition.
